This notice covers the websites monitoringhive.ch, monitoringhive.de, monitoringhive.at, monitoringhive.com and monitoringhive.eu and the contact form on them. Processing inside the MonitoringHive platform for customers is governed by the respective customer contracts and is not described here.

The website is hosted by hosttech GmbH in Switzerland; the servers are located in Switzerland. When a page is requested, the web server processes technically necessary access data: IP address, time of access, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referring page. The purpose is to deliver the pages, keep the system secure and analyse faults. How long these log entries are kept follows the hosting provider's operational and security requirements. No content delivery network or third-party security service sits in front of the site.

If you use the contact form, we process what you enter: name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, your selections for role and goal, your description and the optional technical details. The web server sends these details as an email to our mailbox hello@monitoringhive.ch; sending and the mailbox run at hosttech GmbH in Switzerland. The form data is not stored on the web server itself. To keep out automated submissions the form uses a hidden check field and limits submissions per sender over time; for that, the server writes an empty marker file whose name is a keyed hash (HMAC) of your IP address. The marker is valid for 30 seconds; the file itself remains until the next submission removes it as expired or the hosting provider clears the temporary directory. The key is regenerated on every publication of the website, the file holds no data, and the IP address itself is not stored. The purpose is to answer your enquiry and, if you want that, to prepare a business relationship. An enquiry is non-binding.

Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted from the mailbox 14 days after they have been answered, including our replies and the trash folder. The hosting provider makes daily backups of its servers, which according to its own information remain available for at most seven days. If a business relationship follows, we keep the correspondence for the duration of that relationship and any statutory retention period.

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking service, loads no fonts or scripts from third parties and embeds no third-party content. It stores nothing in your browser. That is why there is no cookie notice and nothing to accept or reject.

The recipient of data is hosttech GmbH as hosting and email provider in Switzerland. There are no other recipients unless we are legally required to disclose. Hosting and mailbox are located in Switzerland.

The website is available over HTTPS only; the form is transmitted encrypted and forwarded to the mailbox over an encrypted connection only (STARTTLS or TLS with a verified server certificate; without encryption nothing is sent). Please report security issues to security@monitoringhive.ch.
