Devices & firmware
Device classes, firmware, proprietary logic, and product knowledge stay with you.
MonitoringHive extends your device family with dashboard, telemetry, states, service information, and analysis, with clearly defined data models, product boundaries, and responsibilities.
Product knowledge stays protected. Customer data access only arises through an agreed purpose, a defined role, and a released data scope.
Sample data 路 not a live customer view
Building your own IoT or monitoring platform from scratch shifts focus away from your core business. MonitoringHive provides the platform foundation, and you focus on the manufacturer-specific logic.
Data model, edge components, security, and data chain are already in place, you add device connection and service logic.
Manufacturer-specific device profiles, status codes, and error patterns are represented in a structured way, not forced into a generic IoT schema.
Instead of platform building, you dedicate engineering capacity to what makes your product unique: diagnostics, service, lifecycle.
MonitoringHive should strengthen your device and service offering, not expose your product knowledge. Proprietary protocols, error codes, device profiles, service logic, and customer access are scoped per project. Visibility only arises where purpose, role, data scope, and responsibility are defined.
MonitoringHive is not positioned as open access to your product world. Together we define which device family is connected, which data is relevant, which service cases become visible, and which roles get access. This creates a monitoring building block that strengthens your offering, without softening product knowledge or customer boundaries.
Device classes, firmware, proprietary logic, and product knowledge stay with you.
Monitoring Box, data chain, data model, roles, and states are cleanly defined for the device family.
Service portal, support processes, analysis, and data releases follow your offering model.
How an OEM uses MonitoringHive is not a single model. Devices can be digitised for the first time, an existing product extended with service functions, or an existing service operation scaled. The right path depends on whether you want to connect a first device family, create a service portal, complement existing systems, or validate a scoped service case.
Devices and assets are combined with structured telemetry and a defined platform building block into a bundled OEM offering. MonitoringHive provides the platform foundation, data model, and service basis, you focus on hardware and commissioning. Supports maintenance and service contracts with dependable telemetry.
A branded service portal gives end customers and service partners a view of their devices, live states, alarms, service history, and device health, embedded in your product portfolio or as a standalone portal under your brand.
MonitoringHive is used as a data and service building block for existing OEM systems: consistent data foundation across product lines and markets, analysis across the installed base as a foundation for warranty, quality, and product decisions, within clearly defined data rights.
A scoped device family, a scoped service case, or a first data flow is brought into governed operation. From that emerges a validated foundation before further product lines, service packages, or manufacturer analyses are added.
When connecting to MonitoringHive, it is not just about connectivity, but about trustworthy data capture from your assets or devices. Device identity, secure connection, clearly defined data points, and platform-side data-quality checking are part of OEM connection, not an afterthought.
OEM cooperations with MonitoringHive follow a clear division of responsibility. Data access is not an open model, it is defined per product, implemented tenant-separated, and cleanly split across levels such as end customer, service, manufacturer, region, and product line. Every access path is traceable.
OEM integrations do not have to start as a big project. Three steps lead from the first device to a dependable service data foundation.
Together we choose a device family or product line as the entry, define the versioned device profile, data points, units, status codes, error patterns, and set the tenant and permission structure of your OEM instance.
Devices are connected via the Monitoring Box or project-specific integration paths. Data model, standard alarms, and a scoped service use case (e.g. telemetry for maintenance contracts, or a first view for service partners) are qualified, including data quality and security boundaries.
The validated service building block is brought into governed operation. On this basis, further device classes, service packages, or manufacturer analyses are added, platform releases by TRRT run in the background.
We discuss with you which devices and data points are central, which service use cases should emerge, and how MonitoringHive fits concretely into your product and IT landscape.
